Oh the tween years...

Lets' face it they are awkward (as they should be!) Your kids are discovering the world in a new way, exploring new passions, figuring out what it means to be a good friend, all while juggling the crazy changes going on in their minds and bodies.

It can be a really strange and tough time - so what they need is a chance to embrace the weird and wonderful and truly be seen for who they are right now.

I'mPossible is a two-part tween empowerment event hosted by Jenn Kerfeld Photography.

This event is open to tweens/teens ages 9-14.

Our hope is to help your child identify their passions and put those big dreams into photographic art!

Kids who are passionate in all things are welcome!

We will cover:

Goal Setting
Realizing accomplishments
Loving what you do
Loving yourself

Here are just a few of the individual passions your tween might have:

(Any hidden talent you care about!)

There are two parts to every story.

THE FIRST PART,

will be a personalized photoshoot where Jenn will get to know your Big Dreamer’s passions and then create a session that showcases their personality. Being in front of a camera embracing who you are is a truly empowering experience. It's more than just sitting in front of the camera and posing. It's about the inner superhero inside! These sessions will be scheduled during the month of March.

THE SECOND PART,

The second part is an empowerment event where all of the tweens will meet each other and will work on skills like being excited for someone else's accomplishments and truly cheering on others. We will supply all of the supplies they need to have an amazing experience including: speakers, vision boards, photo booth, and more.

This will be hosted at River of Life Church, Sauk Centre on Saturday, April 5th starting at 1PM.

We are truly passionate about helping tweens unlock the super powers inside of them and cannot wait to share that passion with you through this event!

We are only accepting 50 kids. BOYS AND GIRLS WELCOMED!

Taes (pronounced: TESS) has spent the last 15 years creating empowering television and stage content for kids as one half of the musical duo, Splash’N Boots.

Her goal is to empower kids to move confidently through their big feelings. Her research has revealed that the number one thing that holds people back is not knowing how to navigate big feelings— such as bullying, failure, guilt, sadness, and heartbreak.

Her knowledge of children’s entertainment (she knows what kids find entertaining!) combined with developmental psychology and mindfulness practices has led to the creation of this program — which is approved by pediatricians and psychologists!

The Big Heart Method will help build students’ resilience, boost their confidence, reduce anxiety, and strengthen their relationships with teachers, parents, and other caring adults.

I am a wife, mom of 3, tree hugger (One time I came away covered in sap, after hugging a tree, while practicing yoga outside with a group of veterans…that was a good belly laugh moment!), belly laugher, just doing my best to live life simply and to my fullest potential.

When we know and implement healthy habits in one area of our lives, they trickle into all the areas…home, work, play, rest and more! These practices are as simple as:

Jenn Kerfeld is the owner of Jenn Kerfeld Photography. With over 20 years of photographing and working with families and children, Jenn found a passion to guide kids into becoming their true selves. Dayna Remmele has worked for Jenn for over 9 years and continues to bring her creativity and marketing experience to the forefront to help create and develop events like this.

2023 brought the first year of the I'mPossible event and we are so excited to bring it back in 2025. Our main goal is for kids to feel empowered, to know how they are feeling and that it's okay. Having a daughter entering into her Tween years it's been eye opening for Jenn just how much these kids need this kind of support.

We are thrilled to be able to offer an event like I'mPossible to our community.

If you are a tween or know a tween that would be interested in being featured at the I'mPossible event with our "part one". Please fill out our application and we may select you to come in and be photographed and featured during the April 5th event.

We are so excited to be finally launching the I'MPOSSIBLE tween empowerment event! We cannot wait to inspire tweens/teens to dream big and learn how to shoot for the stars! We are going to be selecting 16 individuals to participate. Please take a moment and click the button below and be directed to our I'mPossible application. We will be notifying and setting up a meeting with each accepted applicant and their guardians.

Before filling this out make sure you are available on April 5th, 2025 for the I'mPossible event. All of our VIP tweens will be featured and honored at the event. This date is set and not flexible.
